HOW CAN YOUR GBS/GCC
CREATE THE MOST VALUE?

Bring us a process, problem or work activity. Innovation-Verse will diagnose it, challenge it, quantify it and tell you what to do.

AI-powered · FTE economics first · Problem-to-value

Do not automate a bad process
Diagnose. Simplify. Standardise. Only then automate.
17 interventions, not one
From Eliminate to Autonomous Workflow — every option scored.
FTE economics before technology
Reduction, capacity release and avoidance — never conflated.

A decision engine for Global Business Services transformation

Most shared services and GBS organisations start with the technology and work backwards to a justification. Innovation-Verse reverses that. You bring a process, a problem or a single atomic work activity — invoice exception handling, cash application, account reconciliation, payroll queries — and the engine diagnoses the work first: volumes, minutes per transaction, error and rework rates, human judgment, repetition, rules dependence, data structure, variability, risk and compliance sensitivity.

Only then does it evaluate interventions — and it evaluates all of them, in the order that protects value: Diagnose, Simplify, Standardise, Improve, Re-engineer, Digitize, Automate, Apply Intelligence, Augment, Act, Autonomize. The lowest-complexity, highest-value option wins. Frequently that is process simplification or standardisation, not artificial intelligence.

What the engine calculates

Work activity diagnosis

A guided five-step journey from organisational context down to the atomic work activity, deepest in Finance (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Controllership, Internal Audit) with models for HR, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Operations, Legal and Risk.

Your own client cases

A six-step custom workflow for a real company or client: capture context, work scope and root causes, enter measured volumes, cost, error, rework and exception rates, tune the work characteristics, choose where released capacity is redeployed, and get a scored recommendation. Cases are saved on your device.

17 scored interventions

Eliminate, Simplify, Standardise, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Re-engineering, Operating Model Redesign, Digital Workflow, RPA, OCR/IDP, Analytics & ML, GenAI, Copilot, Agentic AI, Multi-Agent and Autonomous Workflow — each scored on impact, feasibility, readiness, risk, investment and ROI.

FTE economics, never conflated

Capacity release, reduction potential and avoidance are calculated and reported separately, alongside annual savings, implementation and run cost, net benefit, ROI, payback and three-year value.

AI value pools and autonomy

Assist, Augment, Act and Autonomize mapped across an eight-level autonomy maturity scale, with an autonomy gate that blocks autonomous workflows when risk, data quality or accountability are insufficient.

Portfolio prioritisation

A dynamic value versus complexity matrix separating quick wins, strategic bets, fill-ins and initiatives not worth pursuing, filterable by function, process, value pool, ROI, FTE impact and risk.

Sequenced 120-day roadmap

Waves at 0-30, 30-60, 60-90 and 90-120 days carrying owner, dependency, investment, FTE impact, benefit, risk, readiness and change requirement for every move.

Worked example: invoice exception management

A manufacturing GBS runs accounts payable with 12 analysts, tens of thousands of invoices a year and a 22% exception rate. The engine traces the exceptions to their root causes — supplier master data gaps, tolerance settings, missing goods receipts, PO discrepancies — then shows why standardisation plus intelligent document processing beats a generative AI deployment on ROI, risk and time to value, and exactly when agentic AI becomes justified. Every figure in the example is illustrative demo data.

Questions this answers

Where should we apply AI in our shared services organisation?
Wherever the work is repetitive, rules-based, high-volume and low-judgment — and only after the process itself has been simplified and standardised. The engine scores every activity for AI addressability, automation addressability, agentic potential and human-essential share, so AI lands where it earns its cost rather than where it demonstrates well.
How do we build a credible FTE business case?
By separating the three outcomes that are usually blurred together. Capacity release is hours freed inside existing roles. Reduction potential is headcount that could genuinely come out. Avoidance is hiring you no longer need to do as volumes grow. Each is calculated from measured volumes, minutes per transaction and rework rates, then adjusted for adoption and realisation under conservative, base and upside scenarios.
Is more autonomy always better?
No. Higher autonomy raises investment, control burden and failure cost. The autonomy gate withholds autonomous and multi-agent designs until risk level, process variability, data quality, GBS maturity, human accountability and ROI all clear their thresholds.
What if the answer is not technology at all?
Then the engine says so. Eliminating unnecessary work, simplifying a control or standardising a tolerance regularly outperforms every automation option on the same activity, and the recommendation explains both why it was chosen and why the more complex alternatives were rejected.
