GCC Intelligence

Global Capability Center Engine

A parallel engine to GBS Intelligence. A GCC is treated as a potential global capability, talent, technology, product, engineering and innovation platform — not as an offshore cost centre. What it should become depends on evidence, never on assumption.

GBS Intelligence is the enterprise services operating system. GCC Intelligence is the global capability, talent, technology, product and innovation engine. They share methodology, AI reasoning and economics — they are never merged, and neither overwrites the other.

GCC Evolution Navigator

Progression is driven by owned outcomes and decision rights — not by headcount.

Innovation Verse GCC Evolution ModelAuthored by Innovation-Verse. Not a NASSCOM, Zinnov or consulting-firm model.
  1. 01
    Delivery

Owns tasks against defined service levels.

  2. 02
    Capability

Owns named capabilities and their skill depth.

  3. 03
    Portfolio / Ownership

Owns products, platforms or end-to-end processes with decision rights.

  4. 04
    Transformation

Owns enterprise change agendas, not only its own scope.

  5. 05
    AI / Innovation-led

Owns innovation, IP and AI-native capability at enterprise scale.

Stage jumps fail. A delivery-stage centre cannot hold a transformation mandate before ownership and leadership depth exist — the engine enforces this when generating recommendations.

GCC strategic archetypes

The engine selects from this spectrum on evidence. A transformation hub is never the default answer.

Delivery Center

Stage 1

Executes defined work to defined service levels for the enterprise.

Not recommended when: Objectives are dominated by innovation, product ownership or transformation.

Capability Center

Stage 2

Holds named capabilities with specialist depth rather than executing tasks.

Not recommended when: There is no capability intent beyond volume transfer.

Multi-functional GCC

Stage 2

Several enterprise functions coexist in one centre with shared enablement.

Not recommended when: Only one capability is genuinely in scope.

Technology & Engineering Hub

Stage 3

Engineering depth with owned technical scope and technical leadership.

Not recommended when: No engineering or technology capability is in scope.

Product & Platform Center

Stage 3

Durable, funded product teams owning roadmap and outcomes.

Not recommended when: Funding remains project-based and roadmaps are owned at HQ.

Data, Analytics & AI Hub

Stage 3

Enterprise data foundations, analytics and applied AI capability.

Not recommended when: AI ambition is high but data foundations are absent — fix foundations first.

Innovation & R&D Center

Stage 4

Funded research, experimentation and IP generation.

Not recommended when: No protected funding or production path exists.

Transformation Hub

Stage 4

Drives enterprise-wide change from the centre with enterprise mandates.

Not recommended when: The centre is still delivery-stage — a transformation mandate will not hold.

Integrated Global Capability Organization

Stage 5

A globally integrated capability organization holding enterprise outcomes.

Not recommended when: Fewer than two capability domains are genuinely owned end-to-end.

GCC ↔ GBS connection

Architecture in place; the full Capability Allocation Engine is deliberately not built yet.

An enterprise can hold several delivery vehicles at once. Each capability has a best home, and the engine records an indicative verdict inside every blueprint.
